Is the media blamed for the unhealthy paparazzi culture.
No. The media should not be blamed for the unhealthy paparazzi culture. The recently case of Rupert Mudoch phone scandal is a typical example of what happens when media looks for interesting news to attract customers. Actually, i think that it is the reader's fault. If the reader have a healthier mindset, the media would not need to do so much just to please the public. Besides, the media needs to survive in the media world and they have a lot of competition. I am not trying to say that the media did the right thing by hacking into other's phone just to get interesting news, in fact, what they are doing is absolutely wrong. The unhealthiness in the paparazzi culture is a chain effect from other paparazzi. When a certain media uses some certain unhealthy method to attract customers, the other media will follow suit and the culture will spread, spreading the "virus".
Is true justice and achieved at the end of the trail scene
Yes, true justice is achieved at the end of the trail scene, however, not mercy. At the end of the trail scene, Shylock is forced to give up all his fortune to Antonio for attempting to take his life, and Shylock is also forced to convert to Christianity, and all of these is according to law. besides, although Shylock signed a contract with Antonio on getting his pound of flesh, there is nothing written about taking his blood and so it is perfectly legal for Portia to take advantage of the mistake to attack Shylock. However, although true justice is given to Shylock, there is no mercy given. Although Portia knew about the fact that Shylock wanted revenge for the humiliation and disgrace Antonio gave him, she charged him mercilessly, taking all the evidence possible to land Shylock in a really bad situation. However, Antonio may have given Shylock some mercy by promising to give Shylock's fortune to Jessica after Shylock's death, however, it is Antonio's personal will and Shylock did not get any advantage, so true mercy is not really present.
P.S
There may be true justice given to Shylock, however, Portia is breaking some rules herself. In those days, women were not allowed into the court, and Portia broke the rule, thus making whether true justice is present variable.

Is money important in a relationship? In your opinion
It differs from people, religions and countries. In some countries, money is important in a relationship, especially India. The female side of the family have to pay an large amount of money to the male side for an marriage and this kind of arranged marriage is usually for the sake of money and will most likely not end happily for either of the couple. In Afghanistan, a nineteen year old girl had her ears and nose cut off by her husband and it is the result of an arranged mirage to settle a family rivalry. In my opinion, i feel like a relation only matters when there is love and when the main reason is for money, it is no longer considered as a relationship. Some parents still have the mindsets that their son of daughters should marry a rich person for a better life, however, a marriage without love is meaningless.
Evolution of war
As time changes and technology improves, war becomes different from what it used to be, however, it still exists for the reasons like more land domination, resources and the need to prove a country's power or defend its country. In a nutshell, wars are now fought with more powerful weapons, evolving from swords to guns. The war machines also evolved from wooden machines to tanks and aeroplanes. Even chemical are being used in war, and nuclear bombs are being created. The latest invention are mostly invented for the sake of war, such as the internet. Although war did change drastically over time, the damage and sorrow caused by it will never change no matter what age it is.

The soldier by Rupert Brooks
The poem above tells us about how much this soldier loves his country, England, and the young men in Singapore will have to serve in the national service, and personally, i think that the national service is very important. Singapore is a small and powerful country in economic, but having a strong economic doesn't mean that we are absolutely save. in order to protect ourselves, we will have to train Singaporeans to defend themselves and the countries in the time of crisis.
It is natural for the national service to be compulsory, have talents are not enough, we need an strong army too to keep Singapore safe in time of crisis or else these talents will be for nothing.
I do not think that I have the same sense of patriotism for Singapore as the sense of patriotism presented in the poem, as I am not planning to stay in Singapore for long.

War-a personal response
This picture is of the scene of Biafra, West Africa in 1969, during the World War 2. There are two African children in the picture and both of them and bone and skin. Both of them have skinny legs and arms, a big head and the child in the background has a really big stomach. This is the symptom of malnutrition and starvation. The boys must be really very poor to be unable to get enough food and clothes. The big stomach is possibly caused by eating some really unhealthy and unhygienic food. I cannot imagine how hungry they must be to resort to eating that kind of food and diseasing his stomach. I think they had not had a regular meal for a long time and this reduced their legs to what seemed like a bamboo stick. It is a really disheartening and sad sight. What worst than that is the fact that one of the boys is clutching onto a food can, which may either be his last meal or the container to keep the money he was begging for. According to their current state, I can understand how much they have suffered due to the war and they may not survive long unless medication and food is provided. War is terrible and the country must have drained its resources to fight the war, this picture clearly conveys the message of the effect of war and he sacrifices which must be made.
